Normally, a COLB (Certificate of Live Birth) contains a visible signature, official state seal and certificate number. What you’ve got here does NOT demonstrate U.S. Citizenship. It does however demonstrate that someone knows how to use photoshop. Do the research before you post something like this. Mr. Obama is going to soon have this document bite him big time.

Teh Hawaiian Birt Certificate: 1) Has no registrar’s signature or seal, 2) Is in pristine condition for a 47 year old document, and/or 3) Has no certification if it is a certified copy.

    @ berg and richard:

you do realize that hawaii became a state just two years before obama was born right? if you look at the top of the document, you see the seal of hawaii, with the year 1959 stamped…which is PROOF that it is legal…
richard talks about requiring a signature…how can u say with confidence that the process of dealing with citizenship was the same 40 years ago, especially in the newest state to the union? you also say there must be a certificate number…do u not see the words: CERTIFICATE NO. on the top right? the reason it is blacked out is due to security issues…after all, he is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES….

M L Berg talks about the document being in pristine condition…do u think the state keeps these documents in such a way that they will get ruined??the document is a legal state document, and all state documents are supposed to kept in pristine condition…

the arguments presented are utter nonsense and baseless…
